How 30 minutes more per Morning Changed my Life - Part 2

Body

I think the most obvious change (and the one I had most sought after) was too my body. After the holidays, I felt miserable with both how I looked and how I felt. I had not been doing anything physical and had consumed more food in a short amount of time than I had done all year. This state of mind is what led me to undertake this journey in the first place.

However, unlike when I was going to the gym, I chose to also completely change my diet. I decided that to completely invest in the program, I needed to quit sabotaging my own results. I gave up on almost all sugars, quit drinking soda, and began monitoring everything that went in to my body. While it is not only more expensive, but also more time consuming, to change my diet, I have found the results to be well worth it.

I have found that in only two months that the changes have been night and day. I have completely lost every bit of weight that I put on during the holidays as well put myself in the best shape I have ever been. I have also found that despite getting up earlier, I have much more energy throughout the day and feel much more alert; I have also added a tremendous amount of flexibility (great for golf). By changing my diet, I have felt great and have had none of the eating issues that I used to have. There have been zero chronic headaches, and I got rid of the "flu" that seemed to plague people for weeks in less than two days.

I could not be happier with the results that I have seen, and I did not expect everything to go as well as it has. It is because of the physical changes that I believe the other significant changes in my life have come to be.

Are Chromebooks right for Mom?

With Mother's day coming up, many people will be looking for that perfect gift which many times can be a new laptop. However, there are thousands of options based on size, color, storage capacity, ram, et cetera. The most important starting point is operating system. Now, if you have a ton of money or just really love your mother (joking!), you could opt for the Macbook or iPad. They are excellent "computers" for everyday tasks that would be perfect, but unfortunately, that will set you back a few months of rent or mortgage or whatever. So, while I have no issue with Apple, and I actually love the simplistic design, I may advise against that. So, that leaves you with either the old reliable Windows PCs of which there are many or the somewhat newcomer that is the Chromebook. Now, Chromebooks tend to be cheaper and run faster, but are they really the right choice for Mom (or you if you choose to treat yourself)? The first question to ask is, "what do you do with ...

What does the T-Mobile and Sprint merger mean for you?

Well, after two previous failed attempts, it has finally happened: T-Mobile and Sprint have announced merger...maybe. While both companies are calling this a merger, essentially T-Mobile is buying out Sprint to the tune of $26.5 billion, and the carried we now know as Sprint will cease to exist. Officially, nothing has been finalized yet as the merger still needs to clear the massive hurdle that is regulatory approval by both the FCC and the DOJ; this was wall that halted the sale of T-Mobile to AT&T several years ago. While the deal is far from official at this point, and this whole situation could dissolve eventually, let's operate on the premise that this deal does clear the review, and the merger becomes final. What then does that due for the customers of both companies. In the short term, not really a damn thing. At the earliest, the deal would be finalized in roughly a year or so, and it would take a few years for implementation. Basically, don't even start to think...

Checking in on me?

Admittedly, it has been a slower news day in my tech sphere, and I have not had a ton of time to do more research. But I find myself wondering tonight: how many people check in, and do you think it is a good idea to do so? While I understand privacy concerns, I leave my life mainly open for the public. I tend to share my life with the world through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. At any given time, those in my circle on social media know where I am, what I am doing, and who I am doing it with. Why do I do this  you ask? Is it vanity of making others jealous, or is it simply to let others know? Well, honestly, it is a little both. The most important issue others see with this lifestyle is that I am letting the entire world know where I am. I get the hesitation with checking in on social media. For instance, if someone would wish to harm me for some strange reason, they would know where to find me. Also, if someone would desire to rob me, they would know that I am not home. T...
